With 29 years in the IT Industry, I have seen just about everything in the world of IT.
My career has taken me to every corner of the UK and as well as other countries. Working with top military bases, global banking corporations, credit card data warehouses, The BBC and everything in between.
I have worked on systems in the tallest sky scrapers on land, on ships while at sea, and in secret underground tunnels for the MOD. (Oh that rhymed)
I am primarily technical, but also commercial and can communicate at board level in plain simple terms. I will communicate the value of IT and demonstrate the ROI on proposed solutions. I will highlight the risks and provide you with options to help a board of directors make informed IT decisions.
I take pride in what I do and will walk away from a order if I have any doubt that it will fill the clients needs 100%. I have a reputation for bringing stability, reliability and dependency to IT systems, whilst minimising risk and exposure in the process.
My strapline is “Failure is not an option”
A wise man once told me that “You have to be prepared to go somewhere you’ve never been before, to do something you’ve never done before, on something you’ve never seen before.” I’ve found nothing is more true than when working with IT.
I’ve worked in the IT industry for over 25 years and have helped many a business along the road to smoother and better IT solutions.
Whether large or small, 10,000 user to 10 user businesses, I’ve project managed and implemented PCI compliancy, IT and user audits, system and server upgrades, cloud-based remote desktop installations, migrated services to data centres, rip-and-replace IT swap outs, built resilient DR systems, and lots more.
Having worked in the IT department of a 10,000 user multi-national company and a number of IT service providers over the years, from IT technician to senior pre-sales consultant, I’m a Microsoft MCITP and VMware VCP and can advise, design, troubleshoot and implement IT solutions.
It sounds cheesy and as anyone who knows me will agree with, I try to live my life by this simple strapline: “To make each day better than the one before.”
IT's interesting. IT's exciting. And when IT's done right, it makes a real difference to people.
Our team have spent a long time in IT and have pretty much done most things. So we know when things are frustrating. We know when things are painful. And we do our best to eliminate them.
Working with Pride
Our ethos - can we look ourselves in the mirror knowing we couldn't have done better? Yes we can!
We don't believe in a job 1/2 done, or leaving a problem for Monday morning just because it's Friday afternoon. If there's an issue affecting your business we stay until it's fixed.
